QURAN & HADITH

knowledge
MANKIND IN QURAN

The noble Qur’an Is the guidance for all mankind

(The Qur’an is:) “A guidance and a mercy unto the righteous ones.”

Al-Quran, 31. Sura Luqman, verse 3
The Words of Allah
(Glory to Him, the Exalted.)

This verse clearly tells us that the Qur’an is meant to be a guidance for the entire human race, but it is a mercy only to the “righteous ones.

” Who are the “righteous ones?”

“Those who guard against evil, believe in the unseen, are steadfast in their prayers, spend out of what we have provided for them and who believe in that which was revealed unto thee and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the hereafter.”

Al-Quran, 2. Sura Baqarah, verses 3 and 4:
The Words of Allah
(Glory to Him, the Exalted.)

Women's Rights In QURAN

"Whatever men earn, they have a share of that and whatever women earn, they have a share in that."

Al-Quran, 4. Sura An-NIsa, verses 32
The Words of Allah
(Glory to Him, the Exalted.)

(There is no restriction in Islamic law that says a woman cannot work or have a profession, that her only place is in the home. In fact, by definition, in a truly Islamic society, there must be women physicians, women nurses, women teachers.)

Women's Rights In QURAN

"Women have the same rights (in relation to their husbands) as are expected in all decency from them, while men stand a step above them." [Noble Quran 2:228]

Al-Quran, 2. Sura An-Baqarah, verses 228
The Words of Allah
(Glory to Him, the Exalted.)

(This only specifies the degree of responsibility, not privilege, in man's role as provider, protector, maintainer, and leader of the family.)

Neighbor's Rights In Islam

“Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.”

Al-Quran, 2. Chapter:4, verse 36
The Words of Allah
(Glory to Him, the Exalted.)
